I am an undergraduate student in the Department of Interior Architecture and Built Environment at Yonsei University. My research interests focus on how the quality of residential and indoor environments influences individuals’ physical and emotional experiences, as well as their capacity for recovery and well-being.
I am particularly interested in the interplay between the functional performance of space and users’ experiential responses, and how these factors collectively shape human perception, behavior, and quality of life. Drawing on spatial and environmental data, I aim to quantitatively understand users’ experiences and explore ways to create healthier and higher-quality indoor environments.
My primary interest lies in improving indoor environments for housing-vulnerable populations, who often experience significant disparities in residential quality. By examining real-world issues such as indoor air quality, ventilation, and patterns of space use, I hope to contribute to practical improvements that can enhance everyday living conditions.
연세대학교 실내건축학과 학사과정에 재학 중이며, 주된 관심 분야는 주거환경과 실내환경의 질이 개인의 신체적, 정서적 경험과 삶의 회복에 미치는 영향입니다.
공간의 기능적 성능과 사용자의 감성적 경험이 서로 분리된 요소가 아니라, 개인의 인식과 행동, 나아가 삶의 질에 복합적으로 영향을 미친다는 점에 주목하고 있습니다. 이를 바탕으로 공간·환경 데이터를 활용하여 사용자의 경험을 정량적으로 이해하고, 보다 질적으로 우수한 실내환경을 조성하는 연구에 관심을 두고 있습니다.
특히 주거환경의 질적 격차가 크게 나타나는 주거취약계층의 실내환경 개선이 우선적으로 이루어져야 한다고 생각하며, 실내공기질과 환기, 공간 이용행태 등 실제 생활환경에서 나타나는 문제를 분석하고 개선함으로써 보다 실질적인 변화를 만드는 데 기여하고자 합니다.
